Xu Zhijun, Huawei President has on Monday announced that it will begin its 6G networks by 2030 and that it will be 50 times faster than 5G according to the president. This is certainly surprising as we see 5G growing slowly and becoming increasingly popular with time.
Xu made these comments in
Shenzen, South China's Guandong Province, at Huawei's world analyst conference.
Communication was always a major strength for Huawei. Its 5G is already
kilometers ahead, which means that the company already has a good track record
in the discussion on 6G's research and development.
Huawei Could Change the Mobile Networking by Introducing 6G
The 6G networks will be
introduced in 2020, according to Xu Zhijun and a 6G white paper will also be
published in Huawei that will help the industry to understand what 6G is.
Cui Baoguo, deputy dean,
Tsinghua University Information School has predicted that 6G network speeds
can rise up to 1,000 GB/s and that 100 us-microseconds will be delayed. The
speed of 6 G is 50 times that of 5G networks and only one-tenth of the latter
is delayed. Of course, in terms of peak speeds, delays, traffic density, connection
density, mobility, spectrum efficiency, 6G is much more superior to the5G
network,
It is also important to
understand that a 6G branch is a super-speed network. According to experts, a
proper 6G network will lead to a world of integrated terrestrial wireless and
satellite communications, resulting in an efficient global coverage through
integrated satellite communication.
Furthermore, the 6G network will also overcome the current 5G weaknesses, leading to poor
high-speed connections. The speed that is supported is over 1000 km/h, so it is
much easier to travel with 6G.
