Based on the rumors we've heard so far, here's how the iPhone 12 will compare to the iPhone 11 and if you should upgrade.

At its Oct. 13 event
(tomorrow) in October and November, Apple is scheduled to launch the iPhone 12
and to shipping new phones. You may wonder if you're considering upgrading
from the iPhone 11 last year to the iPhone 12, what exactly the difference?
Until the latest phones
are disclosed on Tuesday, we won't know for sure. But we have collected the
most possible rumors about how the iPhone 12 is possible to stack up with the
iPhone 11. You can now find the best places to sell or trade-in your old
iPhone. You can now purchase a new iPhone or wait.
Obviously, there are
perhaps the greatest variations between the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12. This is
what the iPhone 12 wants us to do.
We may see four iPhone
12s released on Tuesdays: the iPhone 12 Mini (5.4-inch) the iPhone 12 and 12
Pro (6.1), "the iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7"), and other iPhone 12 Pro 12s.
There are three iPhone 11's in comparison: iPhone 11 (6.1), "iPhone 11 Pro
(5.8") and an iPhone 11 Pro Max (6.5).
It is speculated that the
iPhone 12 monitor has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a ProMotion monitor that is
currently seen on the iPad Pro. Most phones (including the iPhone 11) are
refresher at 60 frames per second, or 60Hz, while others are refresher at
120Hz, such as the Galaxy S20 and OnePlus 198 Pro. When you swipe through
applications and websites, the quicker and smoother the rate of refreshment a
phone can feel.
You should expect to
update cameras on the iPhone 12 through the iPhone 11, as with new iPhones. The
iPhone 11 has a picture night mode and an ultra-wide camera, which together
with a huge video camera will add more clarity to images. Rumors have been made
that the iPhone 12 will add a time-of-flight camera to help capture details
on depth, such as Galaxy Note 10 Plus. This could help you with AR mapping but
it could also allow you to have portrait mode in a video at last.
One of the largest new
features of the iPhone 12 are cellular network 5 G of the next decade. Apart
from "Hello, Pace," the event call from Apple leads us to believe the
new phones will eventually be connected to the 5 G system, because practically
all-new Android phones arrive in the US. That means the phones will tap into
the fast wireless network when you are on the go, which might seem a bit less
exciting during a pandemic, because we spend more time at home, but still make
your smartphone future-proof for the 5 G increase.
While many people seem to
think it does, the iPhone 11 does not provide 5 G connectivity.
The basic model for the 2019 iPhone 11 is $699, a $50 less expensive than the XR for the 2018 iPhone. One
tech analyst says the iPhone 12 model (the Mini) costs $649, the iPhone 12 Pro
costs $999, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max costs $1,099. The iPhone 12 Pro is a
testament to the price drop. Here's what we know so far about the price of the
iPhone 12.
